The McCormick Place in Chicago is probably not the first place you think about when looking for some interesting
art pieces. However, it's a little known home to quite a few, which you can find out more about by clicking
here. For example, this blown glass chandelier in the lower image was made by an artist by the name of Dale
Chihuly. Luckily for us, we were able to walk directly underneath it to capture a more unusual perspective of this immense piece. The brilliant color, along with the texture and curvature of the glass were part of what inspired Gaby to use this photo to create her silkscreen entitled "De
Colores" in the top image.
